Herobad Mold Help does not have technicians or crews. We connect you with businesses in our network. They inspect, test and remove mold. You deal with them directly.

What Happens on the Call

The first talk is usually short and simple. A provider may ask:

• Where in the house do you see the problem?
• Does it smell musty, or is there a visible stain?
• Has there been a recent leak, flood or heavy rain?
• How long has it been there?

Photos can help. Based on your answers, the provider may suggest a visit, a test or a written estimate. Availability varies, so request a callback to check what is open near you.

What to Ask a Provider

A few good questions make the choice easier:

• Do you offer certified mold testing, and who does the sampling?
• Will you find the moisture source as well as the mold?
• Can I get a written quote that lists the work?
• What are your licenses and insurance? Can I see them?
• How will you protect the rest of my home during the work?
• What should I do afterward to keep the damp out?
